Low Calorie Diets Do NOT Work

Your body protects itself and its energy supply. If you starve yourself, your metabolism slows down. Your body begins hording
the calories you take in, and you actually can add unsightly belly fat while you starve yourself.

Think about it…

Think if you were to lower your calorie intake to 1,000 calories per day – your body will only burn those 1,000
calories on a daily basis.

Therefore, in order to burn the most calories, you need to eat more – because if you eat 2,000 calories a day,
then your body is going to burn those 2,000 calories.

Not eating is NOT the answer – it only makes things worse and causes you to not lose the weight you have
been trying so hard to lose.

Low FAT Diets Do NOT Work

”Low” and “reduced-fat” foods still have plenty of fat content. And while paying attention to fats in your diet certainly is good
for heart health, it does not have much impact on weight loss. You can switch to an entirely low-fat lifestyle and still grow
fatter than ever.

Low CARB Diets Make You MISERABLE

You need carbohydrates for energy, and carbohydrates influence your moods, too. Low-carb diets can contribute to depression,
and cutting carbs definitely makes you feel as though you’re sacrificing many of your favourite foods. Often, low carb diets make
you “throw out the baby with the bathwater”: whereas you should cut-out simple carbohydrates—refined white sugar, and highly
refined, bleached white flour—your body needs complex carbohydrates for stamina and endurance. You need whole grains and
fruits; some vegetables contain simple sugars your body needs. Yet many low-carb diets forbid you to eat fruit, nature’s healthiest
treat. Can you imagine going weeks without a big, delicious apple or orange?

Low carb diets restrict what you can order when you go out to eat in a restaurant. Can you imagine going out for a meal and having
to study the ingredients for every item on the menu?

Low-carb diets leave you miserable, because they deprive you of essential nutrients, and they make you feel like you’re sacrificing.

Don't limit yourself.

If you’re DESPRESSED every single day, you will give up
your diet before you barely get started.
